Ah, a normal Monday down with the 'Soc, but we did get the programme for Term 2 sorted finally, meaning I can at last get the magazine kicked off good and proper. When I got in I watched a Takashi Miike (he directed Audition) movie called Happiness of the Katakuris, featuring dancing zombies and wonderful musical numbers. It trod a fine line between being weird kitsch japanese stuff and being complete crap, however it was worth watching for the musical scene involving the US Naval officer imposter's flight by the power of romance. However given the choice between this and perhaps Tears of the Black Tiger (the best Thai, Technicolor, musical western with rocket launchers ever), I'd definitely see the latter.
